Where our information comes from
Human research
Clinical trials and systematic reviews from PubMed and peer-reviewed journals. Animal or lab studies are clearly labeled as such.
Official health sources
NIH (including the Office of Dietary Supplements and NIDDK), MedlinePlus and the FDA.
Product labels
Manufacturer labels and certificates of analysis, used only for product facts such as ingredients and doses, never for health claims.
How we describe the evidence
- We state the dose, the study length and who took part.
- We say what a study did not show, not only what it did.
- We avoid words like “cure” or “guaranteed”.
- We never invent ratings, review counts or testimonials.
How we compare products
Dose vs. study dose
Does the label dose match the amounts used in human studies?
Third-party testing
Is there independent testing or a certificate of analysis?
Label transparency
Are all ingredients and amounts listed clearly, with no hidden blends?
Price per day
What does one day at the label dose actually cost?
Affiliate relationships never decide which product we rate better, and affiliate links are disclosed on every article.
Tools we use
We use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to see how our pages perform in search. We check health information against PubMed and the product labels. We also use AI writing tools to help draft and format some articles.
